  10. HOW TO INSTALL VIP ON YOUR HARDDISK

  12.       If you want to use the VIB from your harddisk,  then you have do the
  13.       following:

  16.    1. Copy  the  VIB  drawer  and  the  VIB.info files for example to your
  17.       DH0: partition.

  21.    2. Take  a  text  editor  and  add  the following text in your harddisk
  22.       s/startup-sequence:

  24.       Assign Virus: DH0:VIB/Virus      (contains all the texts)
  25.       Assign V-IFF: DH0:VIB/V-IFF      (contains all the demos)

  28.    3. If  you  want  for example VIB installed  on your DH1: partition you
  29.       have to write: Assign Virus:    DH1:VIB/Virus

  32.    4. Please  remember,  that you must have the Amigaguide.library in your
  33.       Libs/dir.   VIB  have  been  succesful  tested  with  the  following
  34.       Amigaguide.library versions:

  36.       Version 34.11 (62.932 bytes)
  37.       Version 34.8  (62.996 bytes)
  38.       Version 39.11 (24.800 bytes)
  39.       Version 40.4  (22.020 bytes)

  43. SOME LITTLE TIPS

  45.       Virus  Info  Base  have been tested at Workbench 1.3, 2.0, 2.1, 3.0,
  46.       3,1  on  the  following  Amigas:  Amiga  500, Amiga 600, Amiga CDTV,
  47.       Amiga 1200, Amiga 4030, Amiga 4040.

  50.       Attention please do you have the old Kickstart 1.3 you can ONLY..use
  51.       the Amigaguide.library 34.xx types!

  54.       The V.I.B.  icon  have  the  default  to use the Amigaguide.  Please
  55.       attention,  if  you want to run "Multiview", then you have to change
  56.       the V.I.B. icon as stated in the following:

  59.    1. Find the pull-down menu in the top of the screen

  62.    2. Choose the icon/information menu

  65.    3. Delete the icon default (Amigaguide) in the comment gadget and write
